Church already booked! :(

I hope it all works out for you. Just curious, is a church wedding necessary? I desperately wanted my wedding at my home church. I was christened and baptized there. However, due to the venue we picked it was very difficult to ask people to drive the distance between the venue and church. I opted to have everything all at the ceremony. But, will still have my pastor officiate the wedding at the venue. Is this a possibility? If not, I definitely understand and again, hope it all works out.

I'd be disappointed too! Is it possible for you to choose another date so you can marry in your church? It holds a lot of meaning to you, so that might be an option worth looking into!

I remembered when this happened to me. But in a way it was good. I was a little sad but we moved the wedding to a later day. It all is actually turning out better. So don't worry.
