How super lame would it be to have a Christmas themed wedding in June?

How Christmas are we talking? It would be strange, IMO, if you were doing anything more than just incorporating red and green as your colors.

I'd also find it odd unless the couple was notorious for doing odd things haha.

I would be pretty confused to walk into a Christmas themed wedding in the summer.

I would think it was a bit wierd but also harmless. For me it is hard to embrace Christmas in the Summer because i am all about flip flops and sun and warmth but i would still have a good time at a summer Christmas wedding. TBH instead of maybe checking out the decorations and a little oohing and awwing, i would probably be thinking it's a little wierd. Bride would never know that, i would tell her i love it because that is what a polite wedding guest does.

Lame is not the word I'd use, but I would def find it to be weird, unless, as @FutureLouie said, you're notorious for doing weird things, or have a known obsession in your circle with Christmas.

Known to be weirdos and very well known Christmas obsession. I want to do December but live in New England so that could be risky depending on weather. Also more expensive for guests that would have to travel.

Christmas is great - at Christmas. Any other time of the year is lame.

I think in New England especially, Christmas pretty synonymous with winter. I live in MA, and I’d find it really strange to attend a Christmas themed wedding in the summer, even if I knew the couple was obsessed with Christmas.

Seriously, you do you. It's your wedding and something like this is harmless. As long as you're hosting your guests well, if you feel like Christmas theme then go for it!

Besides, in July I could see things like ice sculptures going over very well!

At an indoor venue what difference does it make what the weather is outside? They can set them up the same way with the cold base and put on the air conditioning!

Well I think Christmas in July is more of a thing. So that would make more sense to me. Realistically it’s ur wedding and if ur a Christmas fanatic I’m sure ur friends and family know that about u! Definitely know ice sculptures tho. It would be great to get decorations after Christmas tho on clearance.

Okay not going to say it’s lame but if you did it.... I would go all out to make it the most extravagant wedding ever. How cool would it be to say you went to a Christmas wedding in June (although I would do July over June because ‘Christmas in July’ is actually a thing)

ice sculptures, snow, sleigh, dark lights with hints of Christmas around! How fun would it be on a hot day to escape to a winter wonderland!!!?!

i LOVE Christmas so I’m biased and think this idea is clever and unique and fun!
