How festive are you going? Are you planning to have a winter wonderland with red/green/pine or blue/silver/snow, or are you steering the opposite direction with no holiday decorations/colors at all? Are you tailoring the food and beverage menus to fit the season or not?

I didn't have a Christmas wedding, BUT i did consider it and if I went that route I would have wanted it to not be super super Christmas decor. I would have had guys in black tuxes, girls in emerald dresses. Then lots of greenery, a combo of evergreen, fir and eucalyptus branches (think garlands on the tables) and lots of candles, gold accents. I dont really like red at weddings so I probably wouldn't have included it. If we did this, we would have used clear ornaments at the place settings as a "favor" but also their seat (it would have just had their name on it and like dried flower petals inside or something similar).
