Choosing Bridesmaids dresses!

My girls wanted to go dress shopping so I tagged along while they tried on the bridesmaids dresses. My girls range from 0-20, so it was nice to have them in person to tell me their thoughts.

Mine were different sizes too so i chose the color and allowed them to pick the style, why not pick 3 dresses that all compliment and let them choose

Got the same thing going on! One girl is tall with a *ahem* chest, another super petite. So many different body types on just 4 girls! So I gave them color, length, fabric, and asked for straps on the dress (halter is okay!), and asked them to order from Azazie. When you put in the filters there are about 60 different options for them to choose from!

If you plan on mixing up the dresses, I'd just give them a color(s) to choose from and let them decide on their own - with your two cents, of course. I know I would hate to be forced to wear something that I did not feel absolutely comfortable in...especially for hours!

Has anyone actually tried on the dress? Did you ask each of them individually and privately what their budget is?

I was gonna go with a dress from Renz as well but they couldn't customize it the way that I wanted

I'm allowing my ladies to pick a dress style that they like as long as their dresses are the same color. They are getting their dresses from Azazie.com

I created a Showroom on azazie.com with a variety of dresses that I liked and shared the link with my girls. I told them to pick what they wanted from the selection. Easy.

I used Azazie. They have so many different styles and colors! You could have them choose their own style but in the color you'd like!

It can be sooo difficult to find a style that everyone likes and feels confident in. Not impossible, but personally I love when people go with the same color/fabric and different style dresses (usually the skirt part is pretty much the same and the top is different).

We are doing infinity dresses! All that needs to be done is cut on the bottom for length. They get to tie it however feels best to them. The dresses are literally a one size fits all since they are tied to your body.

My cousin was almost eight months pregnant when she tried on the dress and ordering any other dress would have been a headache since we would have to guess what size she would need by the wedding since the wedding is in two months.

You can find them on Etsy or a lot of shops now have them. Kleinfeld has them too for not too bad of a price. We bought ours at two bridesmaids so those ones are more expensive.

Mine are also dofferent sizes, ethnicities, hair color, etc! I want them all the wear the exact same minus a few differences for my MOH, but will allow them to give opinions on the choices to make sure they all are comfortable with it. I'd like it to be a dress they would wear again not just resell

I just told my girls what bridal store to get their dress at, and what color. I also told them it had to be a long dress. But besides that, they got to pick whatever dress they wanted as long as it wasn't short and was in the color! I'm not sure if they liked that or not because it was so open ended, but they all got dresses that they liked and they looked wonderful in. (one bridesmaid is very indecisive and would rather just be told what to get! haha; however, several seemed to like this because they're in other weddings and don't like the dresses for them but liked the ones they got for my wedding) My bridesmaids are all different shapes and sizes and body types so I honestly think it worked out! Plus it adds a unique spin to our bridal party as it allows them to have their own little spin on the day! I loved all the dresses they picked too!

That's gorgeous! I was going to have my girls wear the SAME THING but we no longer have a wedding party so it doesn't even matter anymore. I love these!
