Chocolates for S'mores!

Britini, on April 6, 2018 at 1:31 PM Posted in Planning 0 13
FH and I are doing a s'mores bar for a dessert since we'll have bonfires at the reception, and I was wanting an array of different chocolates set up with the Graham crackers and marshmallows. I'm talking milk chocolate, dark chocolate, mint chocolate, raspberry chocolate, chili pepper chocolate (might have to pick those up from my local store haha), white chocolate, etc. Does anyone know where I could grab a variety of flavored chocolates in bulk? They obviously need to be in bar shapes for the s'mores. Thank you guys!

That sounds amazing! Can I come?? lol

Do you have a local cake supply store? Or even your bakery. Even though they might not have them, they might be able to provide recommendations based on where you are.

Omg yum, can I come?? My suggestion would be Ghiradelli chocolate! They come in the flat square shape so I think they would be perfect!! I know there's a few stores but not sure where you are located... otherwise you could probably buy large bags. Maybe try Sam's or Costco? TJMaxx/Marshalls/Home Goods also has bags sometimes that are for a decent price.

Amazon! They have flavors and multi packs, though they aren't cheap.

I got all mine from BJ’s/Costco. We did Reese’s, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate caramel squares, York peppermint patties, and cookies and cream chocolate. I priced out a ton of places and they were the cheapest, I even looked at our local restaurant depot/store.

What about the Lindor website? They have a wide variety of different flavors of chocolate and they come in a bar shape. You could even see if there is an outlet store near you and go pick them up in store (the outlet near us is always offering deals).

I will second what Heather send above about peanut butter cups. Those are my favorite too!

This sounds amazing! I agree with including peanut butter and my personal s'mores favorite: chocolate with almonds.

We did a s'mores bar too! It was a huge hit. We got ours through our caterer so not much help there but I love your variety!

Sam’s club has good prices. That’s where I’m getting mine from. You get 36 bars for about 20 dollars and each bar will make 3 s’mores if you use 3 squares or 4 if you only use 2. I’m also buying teases pb cups to make one called the nutty nutty and we are purchasing Hershey’s cookies and cream to make an Oreo type of s’mores. They also have a big container of peppermint patties which is a good option to make a grasshopper snore. I think it’s like 16 dollars for 100 patties or do. We are also buying some sugar free and vegan chocolate too!! The graham crackers are about 7.50 for a case which has 4 boxes so that would be a good place to purchase also. I’m just looking for a variety of marshmallows now. Think I’m gonna stick with strawberry, toasted coconut and the original. I did see some maple ones at Walmart as well.

Sam's club or Costco. I would also add in a cookies and cream chocolate option if you could!
