Chiavari Chairs w/o pads

Angelique, on May 26, 2015 at 8:13 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

So my venue doesn't have pads on their Chiavari chairs and I don't want guest to be uncomfortable. Do you think those chairs would be OK for a four hour reception? I was thinking about renting pads, but that could get expensive or maybe just getting a few pads and designate those seats for my older guests who probably won't be dancing much.

I would rent chair pads so everyone is more comfortable. That's weird they have chairs without them.

I think they would be more comfortable with them on, but if i was a guest I don't think I would notice. More of a reason to stand up and dance.

I know! I think it's so weird. It almost made me reconsider the venue, but I love everything else about it.

I've never sat in one without a pad! Maybe ask the venue what other brides have done/thought.

No. They have to have pads. That is like sitting on a pew for six hours.

Yes, I'll have to rent pads for my guests. Thanks for your opinions!

That is so bizarre! Definitely worth the pad rental, unfortunately...your guests' asses will thank you
