Chesticles!

Suggestions needed! I am looking for a good quality strapless bra to wear to my dress appointment. I know I can have cups sewn in during alterations, but I’d like a bra to wear for trying on. For reference, I am a 36D, so I need something supportive that doesn’t slip easily. Thanks in advance!

Do you have a Nordstrom in your area? I’m a 32G and that’s where I get all of mine! I didn’t wear a bra to try on wedding dresses though.

I'm almost the same cup size as you but I'm a 32. I was just wondering if the cup sewn in wont work? Just wondering. But this is the same question I'm wondering. I want my girls to not be falling that day lol.

You can wear one or bring one with your but with the low/open backs of most dresses you will get a better sense of the fit and look if you aren't wearing one.

If you're going to David's Bridal, they have tons of underthings made especially to go under wedding dresses, including strapless and long-line bras! I actually ended up getting a strapless bra (and a-line slip) from there and got to try it on with my dress.

Most bridal salons will be used to dressing brides and if they don't stock the type of undergarment you need, maybe you can ask them for recommendations!

I have the same issue, but my size is not easy to find. But, I'm going to try to find one before I go trying on wedding dresses.

I actually wore a regular bra and just tucked the strings into my pits. I felt odd having my boobs rubbing on dresses that were worn by many and probably never washed.

Honestly I’d you are going to have cups sewn in you are better off not wearing anything for the fitting. They can pin some cups in and make sure it’s going to fit right. Having a bra on will just mess up your fitting.

I don’t know that I’d buy anything new for try-ons. I *brought* a strapless bra with me, but never used it. I either just kept on my regular bra (wore a nude color so the straps more or less blended in anyway) or on a few occasions, took that off and used no bra at all. I think this was for the best. I know my normal bra was supportive and fit well so I didn’t have to worry about struggling with my strapless and got a better impression of how the dress would actually feel
