Paige, on July 26, 2018 at 11:12 PM Posted in Planning 0 12
Any recommendations? I thought about designing them myself and emailing them but now I’m thinking I want a mailed save the date. I just don’t want to spend a lot.

Walgreens, zazzle and I'm pretty sure shutterfly! I got mine from minted which is still affordable because they always have coupons and have a budget bride selection and they are higher quality paper however the first three are just as pretty and slightly cheaper! Happy planning!

Vistaprint! I did my invites and save the dates from them! They are super customizable and very budget friendly. My parents paid for the save the dates but I'm pretty sure it was between 45-50 dollars for 60 save the dates. They also have coordinating invites and accessories (address labels, etcSmiley winking for all of their designs!

I bought Save the Dates from Vistaprint when they had a sale. I spent around $20 for 40 postcard style cards. I sent them without envelopes to save on postage.

I just ordered mine on Zazzle last night for $28 for 50 STDs. The 60% off sale ends at midnight. Not sure how often they have it but there's coupons for this site

To have STDs is optional for weddings. So the absolute cheapest is none at all. They aren't actually needed unless you have guests who will need to book travel. But all of the ones listed before would be good places to look. I made my own to mail out for our destination wedding.

I agree with Vistaprint, I paid 65 for 100 magnets with a 40% off coupon, and you get 3% back through ebates, if you use ebates, but why not free $$ just for a few extra clicks. I looked at postcards with either 40 or 50% off and they were like $10 for 100 postcards for the design I picked, but I really wanted magnets. I just went straight to postcard, not in the wedding section and still found save the date templates. Order their free sample invitation kit and you'll get signed up for emails so you'll know about all the deals.

I would suggest Vistaprint, or buy an template on Etsy, edit it, and print yourself or through Vistaprint, FedEx, Kinkos, etc.

I did a super cheap option. I took a picture, added text myself, uploaded it to Shutterfly and ordered free 4x6 prints. Shipping cost about 6 dollars for fifty and I bought envelopes for I think maybe 5-10 dollars. So I'd say it came out to 12-15 for a set of fifty. They aren't fancy but they got the job done!!

    Hey there, Paige!

My recommendations would be Shutterfly, Zazzle, and Vistaprint! I've ordered various things from all three and have never been disappointed! Also, Shutterfly almost always have some kind of promotion going on or a discount code that might be helpful. Sending STD's via email is also a great way to cut costs!!

What did you end up doing?! Do you have a picture of your STD's? I would love to see them!
