cheapest place to buy floating and votive candles without sacrificing quality

Ashley, on June 9, 2011 at 7:43 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

Where would you recommend I buy from? I don't need very many floating candles- about 8-12. I would need about 100 votive candles, though.

Thanks in advance Smiley smile

I got some at Hobby Lobby but I may order some differnt ones at saveoncrafts.com

I am worried about the burn time. We are getting married and having the reception in the same room. And this website has some votives that will burn more than 5hrs.

I used yummicandles.com and did a search for coupon codes and ended up getting 36 floating candles that are amazing quality for under $40.

Quick candle is the best now... I did shipping to IL so, that may change it a little. Funny, when you order more, sometime the bill is the same..... do some experiments.

.91 per when you add shipping for 72 = $65.70 !!!! And they are top of google list!

    .30 per when add shipping for 72 = $21.98 36 = $22.96

    .38 per for 63 = $24.32 (3 sets of 21) 42 = $18.95

    .33 per for 72 = $24.09

different prices if you need the ones in the glass votives, but these seem to have the best prices.

Thanks ladies! I went ahead and went with Amazon. I got 125 votives and 10 floating for $13.00. With shipping it came to be 20 something. Can't beat that. Smiley smile

And if you want to get some cheep candles, put them in a freezer for 24-48 hours. It makes the wick harder and burns much longer.

I'll be sure to do that before the wedding- just incase. These candles are said to have a 4 and 10 hour burn time and both had great reviews, so I don't think I have too much to worry about. THanks Haley! Smiley smile

Agree with Hayley C - Quick Candles is the best - good prices, on-time delivery - nice quality. yes - sometimes a larger quantity costs the same as a smaller box.

A friend used these at her wedding and no complaints. Plus if you try emailing them they usually give you a bit more of a discount!

They should have floating and votive candles in bulk which are pretty cheap!
