A Unity Sand kit is basically just two bottles or cylinders and one large one, and sand (which you usually have to buy seperately anyway) so you can always just make one with bought items if you don't want to invest in a kit. And you can always find one that you like and add a cord.

    Cord or Cork?

$15 sets on etsy (no personalization)

for mine, I just heated up a candle and poured wax on top of the sand afterwards to secure the sand in.

I did what MrsK said. I bought the heartshaped vase from Micheals, on sale, and two small cylinder vases, made a funnel from fancy paper, and bought two little corked bottles to hang on the heart vase. The sand im waiting to buy when it goes on sale.

@ angel you might try hobby lobby if you have one near you i purchased three different colors for $1.99 each (we are doing all our wedding colors because my daughter is pouring one of the colors). Also I made my own I purchased the small 3 cylinders at the dollar store for $2 each and they have LIVE LOVE LAUGH etched on them and I am still on the hunt for my larger vase which I dont plan to spend more than $6 on. Happy shopping and CONGRATS!

Hobby Lobby has some options also. Please know that it doesn't have to be a cork...one of my favorite ones was a diamond-shaped crystal that one couple used and attached to their glass container with glass glue. Hobby Lobby has many types of bottles and vases that you can make it unique to you both.
