cheap tablecloths

April, on July 18, 2019 at 2:36 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 19
I am on the hunt for cheap tablecloths. I've gotten a few quotes for renting the tablecloths and napkins, and they charge $10/tablecloth and $0.60/napkin. I need 20 tablecloths and roughly 200 napkins. I found a website, efavormart.com, and the prices for purchasing is better than the rental price. Unfortunately they don't have the color I want!
If you've purchased your linens, where did you purchase them from? Thanks in advance!!

Check out your local Facebook Market place for brides selling there stuff or Craigslist. I just saw a post on Facebook selling like 10 tablecloths for $75. I'm sure you can negotiate also.

I would say it might not be worth it to buy your linens. You would have to wash and iron or steam them before the wedding so they look nice, you will have to store them all for a year and then collect and clean them all after the wedding. Honestly, those are pretty good rental prices for not having to go through the trouble. Maybe you can ask if you can pick up your order to save on delivery fees.

Linen Table Cloth, https://www.linentablecloth.com, has ones that aren't a lot more expensive than that--and less expensive if you resell them afterward.

I bought mine from Linen Table Cloth via ebay. I bought :

    10 - 120" mint

    3 - 90" x 156" ivory

    2 - 90" x 132" ivory

    84 Napkins - 17" x 17" navy

For $100 shipped. They arrived in a few days and are beautiful. I am very happy with them.

I bought dark purple ones on Amazon for I believe 9 bucks a piece. We are hoping to sell them afterwards and recoup some of the money.

What about tableclothsfactory.com? I've never ordered from them but I've heard they're super cheap.

As others mentioned, it may be worth it to just rent them because then you don't have to deal with storing/maintaining them before the wedding, and then you don't have 20 tablecloths on your hands after the wedding!

What do your tables look like? Do you need tablecloths or maybe just a table runners would suffice? Or maybe use cheap plastic cloths to cover the table and have one base color (tape them so there isn't overhang) and then use a table runner over the top? Unless you're having a higher-end, classy wedding, I can't imagine the average guest being upset by it!

I don't mind having to store them or iron/wash them. I can always donate them afterwards. My venue is more of a lodge, it was used as a boys summer camp so it was metal tables and chairs. I defiantly need tablecloths, and then I'm doing runners on top. We aren't using chair covers for the metal chairs, so I really want the table linens to look nice to even out the look a bit.

I also found some cheap lace table runners on ebay that I am going to use as chair sashes.

I am still hunting for reasonable lace overlays for my reception tables. But I have plenty of time.

Oh good idea!! I still have over a year so I have plenty of time too, I would rather have my ducks in a row than scrabble at last minute though!

Same. I am hoping to be done by december so I can coast to May.

I am doing mismatched china for the reception, so that has been a fun adventure. I have hit Goodwill, a Catholic thrift store, and FB market place. I have had a lot of success.

Trying to find a good place for reasonably priced flatware that has that old vintagey look. Not the institutional cheap look.

I actually found my linen tablecloths on FB marketplace. I paid $45 for 13 tablecloths and 6 table runners. I haven't decided if we will use linen napkins yet or not.
I also "made" my own table runners. No, I don't sew and have 0 sewing experience. BUT my local Walmart just started carrying fabric 4yards for $4 pre cut. I bought 2 of these which made 16 table runners, only $0.50 each. I just looked up table runner sizes for 60" round tables then cut them I think they turned out great. Just another option, if its something you wanted. They had lots of different material and colors.

I second tableclothfactory.com, I’m having a small wedding so I splurged on my tablecloths but they had ones at literally every price point and every color of the rainbow. They’ve got plain/ruffled/sequin/beaded/silk/flowers/pattern, you name it! They regularly have sales of plain tablecloths for $5/each
