Cheap Flights

You can set up flight tracker alerts on Google, and you'll get an email when flights for the date/destination go up or down. However, I don't think there's any secret tricks. Usually 2 months out is the cheapest, and it is often cheaper to fly at less popular times of day (super early morning or late at night) and days of the week (like flying on a Friday/Saturday will typically be more than flying out on a Tuesday). If you know you're going to go with a specific airline, getting a credit card from them so you can rack up miles can help too.

Discount sites such as Expedia and Trivago are good for lower prices. Depending on where you are going, Costco.com offers discounts.


I’ve also read to browse airline sites using the incognito feature because you will get a base price as opposed to being logged into an account and charged 10x.

There's an app called Hopper that can calculate the cost of the ticket over all the airlines and predict when would be best to buy. I've used it a couple of times.

I love snaptravel and hopper for getting discounts on hotels, I have never used either for flights, I m actually not sure if snap travel even offers flights but hopper definitely does. Might be worth downloading the apps. Good luck!

Hopper! It’s an app that tracks the best times to buy flights. I can assure you I have used is 4x this year and haven’t paid more than $350 for flights! That was round trip from TX to vegas (350), TX to New Orleans (80), and TX to Wisconsin (300). Haven’t got to use it for destination yet but it’s pretty great! You can filter out basic airlines, and it’ll literally tell you what price to expect and when to buy. Highly rec!

It's a little more work but sometimes there are these really amazing gift card sales!

for instance i often times see like $450 southwest gift card for $400 at costco or something. i mean it's an extra layer to go through but that in itself saved $50.

Hello that so so nice and sure that it will be beautiful there. What has worked for me when booking flights is to yes do I tracker flight from some of the ladies said. Also do your flight booking from 12midnight on because those times have done me very will. Especially for around trip early morning flight and maybe they will later return. Someone else already mentioned it, but I’ve always had good luck with Expedia

Honestly borrow a family member’s laptop to get the tickets. They track your attendance on the ticket sights and give you higher prices.
