Mollies come in black and white and so do gold fish both are not very expensive. though if you are going to need a lot you might want to get them somewhere that will be willing to take them back after your wedding even if you don't get your money back. what would you ever do with a bunch of fish?

Madison I would talk to the Pet stores in my area. One they might be able to order the number you need and most smaller stores would know of fish that could work for you.

Depending on how many kids you have at your wedding you could give them away along with the bowls as party favors to the kids? If it's okay with their parents that is.

I wouldn't recommend using anything but Betta fish... Mollies, Platies, and Goldfish die fairly quickly without the oxygen support of an aquarium. Bettas are the only ones that do well without a bubbler. I know at Petco they are about 3.50... but you also have to get the water purifier, food, and make sure that any floating flowers you use won't poison the fish. I was thinking about doing this as well, but really didn't want any "floaters" on my wedding day!

Betas are pretty. Don't let them put two in a bowl, they will fight to the death. We had two aquarium stores locally and their prices were the same. If you want them, you will have to pay the going rate. I ended up buying them, returning them and getting a credit, (with the owner's permission), so I could buy other pet supplies for my dog and cat.

Err... i dont want to go all PETA crazy on you or anything but i do have a question.. what WILL you do with the fish after the wedding? They are living things.. and it'd be awfully sad to see them just be tossed out or something. Smiley sad Also, to answer your question, Walmart usually has fish, what the colors are I have no idea. and just be warned that my friend got a few fish there for her kids and the fish died within a week, so my guess is if you were to use them, get them the morning of or something.
