Hey Brides!

Anyone recently try to change their names at the dmv during this pandemic? I can’t get ahold of the office and they won’t allow me to make an appointment. Just trying to see if there’s some knowledge to share about this.

Hi Ashley! Have you tried making an appointment online?
It looks like a ton of the licensing centers are temporarily closed due to employees testing positive for Covid-19, but there is an option to schedule an appointment on their website:

Not sure if you’ve resolved this already but I just did mine in NJ and it wasnt too bad. I did have to get in line about 5 AM in order to be one of the first in line when they opened at 8, but if you’re not one of the first in line they give you a number and text you when to come back. Just triple check you have all the right documents, but the worst part was definitely the long wait
