Changing your mind 😅👍

Very pretty! I love the veil. I also ordered my veil off Etsy and it felt really good to support a small business.



As for what I changed, I thought I wanted a rustic themed wedding but, after I saw one too many pictures with lace and burlap, I changed my mind! I also was set on having blue shoes. I wasn't prepared to shell out the money for them in the end. The one pair I found for a half-decent price ended up being a half-size too big. I ended up with white block heels that worked great but... one day I will get those blue shoes I wanted. Maybe a big anniversary in 25 or 40 years 😂

Looks gorgeous! I thought I wanted a ball gown, or at least an A-line... I went with a fit and flare I never expected to love!

I wasn't going to wear white until my FH decided that he wanted me to.

It’s funny how this wedding process can challenge our ideas. Love your veil choice. I went from not wanting a veil to buying three but finally ended up with a cathedral length with rhinestones. I just love it. So glad you are happy with your choice.

i always thought i wanted a mermaid wedding gown with cap sleeves. i ended up getting an A-line with no sleeves haha. i also thought i wanted a bird cage but i tried it on me and did not like so i went with a headband.

i think it's because we imagine some stuff to look better on us than it actually does.

I always swore I wanted cap sleeves that met at the back of the neck and created a keyhole back, but I ended up finding a dress with thin beaded straps instead. It does still have a low back though, so it all worked out

I thought I wanted an “off the shoulder a line” dress but when I tried it on it did not look flattering on me. I went with a completely different style!

I really thought I wanted lace - I still love the look of lace dresses, but just not on me. The ones I tried on mostly didn’t feel as nice to wear and move in as the large embroidered satin ball grown I ended up buying. I also thought I liked mermaid style (still do) a bit more than ball gown, but again … didn’t love them on me. Also said I didn’t like off the shoulder straps … but you can guess what my dress has 😅

At first my wedding was going to be a straight fall theme with leaves etc.. now it’s a dark rust and gold themed rustic wedding and we will have some white and gold pumpkins around but that’s about all!!
