Changing rsvp By Date

April, on April 28, 2020 at 2:04 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

I had purchased our invitation set a while ago and made the RSVP by date June 15th. I haven't mailed them out yet due to the virus and waiting some more time for updates, but I think I'm going to mail then out within the next couple weeks. I want to change the RSVP by date to July 15th, but new RSVP cards would be $115.00! Would it be tacky to cross it out and write July... as a cheesy COVID joke?

I don’t think it’s tacky! And I’m sure people will understand - and this is just a date for them to send their rsvp back, it’s not a gift! I wouldn’t worry, just cross it off and save yourself that money!

Could you print out labels with the new date and place it in top of the date on the RSVP card? Just a thought if you don’t want to cross it out and write in the new month on the card. Either way, it’s much cheaper than $115. 😊
