Changing guys attire due to coronavirus

Hey everyone
When I was planning my spring wedding I was going to have the guys wear tuxedos but now it is summer to get married I changed my mind for the guys to wear white shirts and Khakis and have flower necklaces. I know it is unusual... The girls are still wearing pewter silver gray long dresses... I don’t want the guys to sweat or have to change during the wedding due to the restrictions... Thoughts?

I think that's fine. you can also consider something like button downs with a vest or button downs with suspenders. my groomsmen wore gray slacks with a white dress shirt and suspenders and a bow tie cause i had a june wedding and it was hot so i definitely didn't want them in suits either

I think it’ll be nice. I’ve seen a groomsman faint in a tux in June heat so I think any alternative is best.

As long as their outfits are a similar level of formality, it won't look off. Just choose breathable fabrics and they should be fine.

I asked the guys what they have and they don’t gray slacks I don’t think... My fiancé feel choked with bow ties... also I think vest and suspenders are not a good idea knowing this guys...

I personally don’t think they will match. Long silver dresses and khakis don’t compliment each other in my opinion. One side is going to look very formal and the other will look very casual. What about just a regular suit? No vest, no tie and breathable dress shirt if you’re worried about them being hot.

Ooops! Hit reply too soon. Your bridal party should be comfortable if it’s warm. Tuxedos are too heavy. Theres always the option to wear gray slacks with white shirt instead of khaki colored.

Some very good. Cant go wrong with the khaki look. Khakis can go from casual to actual dressed up. Any ideas on what footwear they will wear???
