Changing Date on Ketubah because of Coronavirus

Melissa, on March 18, 2020 at 9:14 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 3

Hello!

I'm getting married on May 30th (hopefully!). I was just wondering if anybody knows if there is a way to change the date on a printed Ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) in case we have to postpone the wedding. We custom ordered a beautiful one from etsy, and we already have it.

I am getting married on June 12th and I just received our custom made Ketubah in the mail today from Etsy. Have you reached out to the vendor? My FH and I decided that if we had to postpone our wedding, that our Rabbi would still marry us on June 12th (he said it would be okay) with only a few family members and close friends and have a larger celebration later in the year. Hopefully that is not the case and we go on with our wedding as planned.

I have the same issue - original date was April 5, new date July 12, I forget hebrew dates

I got my ketubah from a small shop - it's a paper cut over printed calligraphy. They are charging me $75-$100 to reprint.

    What can I do?

My other issue is the yarmulkes - I'm crocheting them myself and ordered labels that say "wedding of .... April 5, 2020" I guess I need new labels too!
