Changing after dinner.....

Sakina, on November 11, 2020 at 9:53 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 24
So we're having a small ceremony and then dinner afterwards...We plan on maybe going to a few bars(lounge)afterwards. Is it crazy to wear my wedding dress out?

No! You only get to wear it once. Make the most of it 😊

It's not crazy, but I think whether you want to or not will depend on the type of dress you have. Like, wearing a sheath dress out to a bar after the wedding may be more feasible than a giant ballgown.

I think you should totally wear it!! This is the only time you'll get to wear it, so I say wear it for as long as you can!

I wore my wedding dress to the bar for our after party, and it was a large ballgown! I say go for it, spend as much time as you can in your dress because you'll only wear it once

I'm going to change after dinner into a smaller reception wedding dress so I can dance and be comfortable, plus it will be easier to wear if we choose to go somewhere for a nightcap. It's still a wedding dress but no large train and not strapless, you could always go with this as an option.
