I was in the same boat (April 18th). I saw someone else's advice was to wait and re-evaluate this whole situation when you are a month out. I postponed my April wedding March 17th, and rescheduled it for June 7th. The fear of the unknown truly stinks but I thought a month out was good advice given the situation we are all facing. I'm still worried about my June 7th date, but worrying will get us nowhere. I'm trying to be okay with the fact that my wedding is much smaller compared to the hardships others are going through, and keeping our family friends and ever strangers safe but following this measures is what is most important.

I saw that it is supposed to slow down July/August. We were April 25th but changed to September 13th.

Mine is May 30th as well. My fiancé and venue are both still hopeful that things will be better by then, but I am not convinced. At this point I think I will be much more relieved if we postpone.

I am interested in July dates - July 25th would be top choice, then July 18th, then July 11th. I would even consider August 1st. I think at this point the further the better, but I still want to get married really soon - plus our wedding party all have their own weddings, or plans to attend other weddings this fall - between the 12 person wedding party - every saturday in Sept and Oct wouldn't be able to happen - so if we don't do July we would be looking at November 7th or December. I don't want to wait that long if I don't absolutely have to.

I'm thinking of all you ladies that are in this heartbreaking position. It really sucks!

Hey Nicolle, I'm so sorry you had to postpone but I'm glad you now have a plan you can move forward with. I hope the new date brings you some peace of mind. Was it difficult to move things? How have your guests reacted?

I am in a very similar situation. We moved from April 18th to June 20th. Trying to remain very, very positive. Best of luck to you!
