Champagne flutes for bridesmaids as gifts

As a BM, I wouldn't really enjoy a champagne flute for the long term. Yeah, it's nice for your wedding, but I will probably never use it again. A starbucks giftcard is something that I would appreciate a lot more. How about getting them something personal, that reflects them as a person or things you have done with them?

A good idea for bridesmaids' gifts is to shop as if it's their birthday. I know as a bridesmaid I wouldn't use a champagne flute, and if the tank tops are for a photo op on the day of they don't count as a gift because that's something YOU want them to wear that day. I'm getting mine makeup bags, compacts, jewelry, a stemless wineglass (except my MOH who doesn't drink, she's getting a mug), and some extra items to put in the makeup bags (lip gloss/chapstick, tic-tacs or gum, a mini bottle of their favorite wine).

Also, please make sure you change your picture when you get a chance! It'll help you get more responses!

Eh. I have personalized wedding glasses - individual ones from a variety of places - and I rarely use them. If you get them wedding flutes, don't get them personalized ones. Get them a matching set.

I recently ordered stemless champagne glasses from etsy for my bridesmaid proposals and my girls loved them!

I wouldn't really have space for champagne flutes in my house. I have too many wine glasses already and I don't drink champagne. If you think your bridal party would like them, go for it!

Thanks everyone, considering going the wine glass idea, our centerpieces are wine glasses and all of my bridesmaids drink wine! I also like the idea of the makeup bag, I am giving everyone the option to choose to get their makeup done or doing it themselves so that's a great idea!

I'm getting my girls shot glasses with their names. Also putting together a gift with some bridal party stuff and stuff for them to use at home personally. It's like a spa gift im buying them bath bombs,lotions,facial masks and still looking for a few other things that they can use to pamper themselves. As for gifts for wedding purposes the robes monogrammed sandals and the jewelry for day of wedding.

I got mine a wine glass with her name on it. But She had one that got lost when she moved ans she used it as decoration in her room so I know it will be used after even if it just sits on her night stand lol

I wouldn't ever use a personalized champagne flute...or a monogrammed tank top either.

I love my monogram so I would definitely wear the tank top! I wouldn't use the champagne flute though, but a wine glass I would! As long as it didn't say "bridesmaid" on it.

I actually got my bridesmaids some bath bombs and they loved them! It was an awesome way to say THANK YOU for all that I put you through, now go pour a glass of wine, light some candles, and relax in the bath! haha

@Angela, thanks for the brain nudge on candles! I was trying to figure out something else for one of my bridesmaids and when I read your post, a little light went on--oh yeah, she loves scented candles!
