Chairs

Hey they're better than my chairs! I'm getting foldout chairs because my church is letting me borrow then for free 🤣 I don't think these are bad at all, especially if you decorate them with either covers or even just a bow or something.

I think by the time you have tablecloths on the tables and people sitting in the chairs, NO one will notice and/or remember them. They are black, and, therefore, completely neutral. I think covers/bows/etc. would actually bring more attention to them, so I'd just leave them as is. If you had extra money to rent different chairs and that was important to you, then GREAT, but it absolutely isn't necessary. Good luck!

I agree with the others: once you had centerpieces, tablecloths, and maybe a bow on the chair no one will notice.

Don't rent chairs. These are fine. If someone has a huge problem with them, tell them you'll happily accept the chairs they rent for you.
These chairs will hold butts and do a dang good job at it.
Save your $300.

I dont even think they are ugly. And I bet they are way comfier than the stereotypical wedding chairs!

It’s up to you and how you feel (not others). What other chairs are you considering and how many would you need? $300 is a good price depending on how many.

I like sitting in those chairs as opposed to other plastic chairs! They are comfortable to me. Would not waste money renting new ones.

Maybe look into tying ribbon or something on them to spruce them up if you don't want to rent

PP's have said it and I agree, once you get some tablecloth's, centerpieces and table settings on the tables you won't notice the chairs!

Honestly, no one is going to care. People only take one good look when they walk in and most times that's when they're searching for the Bar.

Not worth the stress or money to put effort into decorating or buying chairs. Just make sure you have the tables dressed up in some way and the lighting down low and you'll be good.

If you can see past them and you don't mind using them then by all means, use them! My venue provided black chairs and I just could not see past them at all. I knew it was a must for me to rent different chairs. I even looked at pictures of receptions that used their black chairs and that was all I saw! So its definitely a personal decision. But don't base it off what you think other people's decor preferences would be, only what will make you happy and go with your vision.
