I would say rent. Why buy something you will use once?

Renting is "usually" less expensive as the rental company can spread their costs over many customers.

If they are cheaper to buy I would say buy them. then you can go on weddingbee or bravo bride and sell them to another lady that needs them once you are done with them for cheap too. try places like cvlinens.com :-) They are awesome! I got my runners from them :-)

I bought my sashes from efavormart and they were only .84 cents a piece! WAY cheaper than renting! and I have people that worked in the industry before, so they know how to set up the chair sashes, though my venue most likely will do it for me anyway.

They also have good deals on their table clothes as well, and shipping is only $4.95! So if you happen to find things that you need, get it all at once! =0)

I say rent unless you have use for 100 chair covers after your wedding. Efavormart is a good place for decor and try www.bloomsandbranches.com for your twigs.

We found buying to be cheaper, and I second CVLinens...they were amazing. We ordered on sunday, they were shipped on monday, and we had them on thursday. We were very impressed with thier customer service.

For your branches I would go to hobby lobby...they have 50% off deals on the florals all the time...

I understand why people want to rent because you wont have any use for them...BUT...here's a site that has what you want for $2.50 per cover. I was unable to order from them because I needed a small quantity...You have to order at least 50.

I ended up ordering mine on ebay. Bought for $1.89 a piece....but they have a black sash sewn into the cover, so I will just remove that sash and tie the green I wanted.

Well that a good question we rented ours from www.angelchaircovers.com but after reading some of the posts from the girls here I looked and saw we could have brought them for the same price. Try www.efavormart.com

Even in the cost was less- I would rent over buy. They deliver them to the venue, set them up, and remove and wash them for me when it's over. If I buy- I'd have to do all that.

Maybe it's just me- but on my wedding day, I don't want to worry about having to do anything more than show up, say a few words and kiss my hubby!

Transporting chair covers and keeping them wrinkle free can be a nightmare, not to mention the time it takes to put them on and tie sashes. I would rent unless you have a lot of good friends who can help you out.
