Thinking of having Olive Garden cater my wedding. Anyone have any experience with them or other chains catering your wedding?

I've had it catered for work functions before. It's really good in my opinion. And if you know if will go over well with your guests and fits your budget, go for it!

I don't personally, but my fiancee did that with his adopted daughter's wedding. He got food from chicken shack. I understand it was a big hit with guests

I was just at a bridal convention and olive garden was there with pamphlets and taste tests and i honestly thought that what they had was delicious. If you and your fiance like it, it fits in your budget than i say go for it! We are having our favorite local pizza place do our catering - and we are stoked about it! That's all that matters Smiley smile

I went to a wedding that Cracker Barrel catered and it was surprisingly good! We're having a chain BBQ restaurant cater our wedding, but it isn't a nationwide chain. They're fantastic and have great reviews!

I don’t have a large budget so I was thinking a chain restaurant may be cheaper.

My wedding is in October of this year and I don’t have anything booked yet. Can’t even settle on a venue! But, yes, I’m clueless about wedding planning and what’s the most cost effective catering type.

My cousin had Olive Garden cater her wedding. It was really well received. She had about 75 people in a hotel banquet room, and it was really lovely. I had an idea of what I thought they spent and her budget was much less.

I haven’t had it for a wedding but I’ve had Olive Garden cater other events before. They were really good! I honestly don’t see much of a difference between their catering style and some other buffet weddings I’ve been too so if it’s better for your budget definitely do it.

Sounds amazing. They better have the salad!! The bessstttt. Lol As far as a venue, if you want olive garden you have to pick a venue that doesn't do their own food. We are month twins! Congrats and best of luck planning!!

We had Dickey's BBQ cater our graduation party at our home for 50 people. It was about $10 per person and included 2 meats & 3 sides & rolls & BBQ sauce. They were super organized and really easy to communicate with.

I wouldn’t even worry about food yet. You don’t have a venue which means essentially you don’t have a wedding yet. Finding / securing a venue is the first thing you need to do.
