Certificate of Insurance

Melissa , on September 25, 2018 at 12:13 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
My venue requires COI from all vendors onsite. Does anyone know if this has to include those who come to do hair & makeup? A family friend of mine used to be a makeup artist and I was hoping to have her do it for us...but she is not associated with any specific place of business.

Thanks!

The only way to find out is to ask your venue. I'd assume if she is coming on site to do the makeup (as opposed to your home or a hotel room) then yes, she would need to be insured.

It would depend on the venue. I assume if they are coming on the venue site, then yes.

Hi Melissa! Agreeing with the others, I would call and talk to your venue staff about the logistics and proceed from there. Is this family friend also part of your guest list and staying for the wedding?
