Ceremony Start Time

What is your ceremony start time and what time will you place on invitation? My ceremony starts at 4:00 but am considering putting 3:45 because I don’t want late comers walking down the aisle with me.

To be honest, I was considering putting a 20 minute early start time on the invitations, but after taking advice from friends on this forum, I've decided against it. It isn't my job to make sure that adults arrive on time, and then to inconvenience those who are early. It isn't right. So, since my ceremony starts at 6 PM, that is the time I'm putting on my invitations.

I agree. Granted, I am the person who will be early as I hate being late, but please don't punish me for being on time. My own wedding started at 11 and we HAD to start on time and frankly my sister has a reputation for being late. My thoughts? "Well I guess she may miss it!" Don't accommodate other people's bad habits!

I'm putting 5:00 on the invitation because it won't let me customize it to the actual time, which is 5:05. I don't think it will be a problem because it's only five minutes' difference. We're getting married on 10/10/2020, and my fiance's son suggested the 5:05 part.
