Ceremony Script

Our officiant had about 10 different sample ceremonies on his website and I basically just went through and took out bits and pieces from each one that I liked

By your script do you mean your vows? My step dad is officiating, and he sent the script in GoogleDocs. Then my FH were able to highlight and make changes to whatever we wanted! It was really helpful. We are going to write our own vows - not really sure when I will start them. We have 9 months and the script is done, but I'm a huge planner, as is my step dad.

I'd just practice reading/saying through the sample scripts and pick and choose parts that you like the most and incorporate it into your own script!

I’m also kind of procrastinating on this. I will finalize by the end of this month though!


I printed them all. I plan to start by highlighting what I like from each. Have my fiancé do the same. Then cut those pieces out and play around with fitting them all together to see what sounds best. From glancing them over previously luckily there’s not a whole lot I like so that makes it easier to cut it down.

I also have to do this. If anyone wouldn't mind sending me some samples they have...that would be awesome!

This is my biggest struggle at the moment
