Are you having any musicians for your wedding ceremony, or is this something that you are DIYing?

Have you found your officiant yet? If they are an experienced officiant, they will definitely have some input about what times during your ceremony you will want music. Or, it may be a case that you only have entrance and exit music for the ceremony. This is totally something that you can decide for yourself.

I would definitely have some background music playing while your guests arrive at your ceremony, to create some atmosphere. Perhaps something classical or instrumental so that it is not too distracting.

Do you want to have the same entrance song as your bridal party, or will you walk down the aisle to your own song?

You will need someone whose job it is to play your music during your ceremony and make sure the correct songs play at the correct time!

Since you are having a solo guitarist at your ceremony, you will be able to liaise with them about song choices and the length of time a song will be played. Do they have a list of songs that they have experience playing that you could check out for inspiration?
