My venue has both of these areas available for the ceremony. I will only have 40 guests. The garden is lovely but a very typical space. I am also not sure if that few of seats would make it look empty. The front porch would be intimate. That is the feeling I am going for. elegant and intimate. I would be coming out the door and walking down the stairs instead down an isle. This is my third marriage and am not doing most of the traditional things. I am not having anybody give me away. Our 5 children are the only people in the wedding party. Which would you do for the ceremony?
