For those of you having an intimate ceremony only and the reception on another day ( months later!), are you wearing a different dress for each??

If this ends up happening to me (extremely likely) I will be wearing the same dress because I LOVE it. Also I’m tight on money with the virus closing my job until further notice so it’d be cheaper haha.

I’m wearing the same dress! We just decided to have an intimate ceremony because my wedding was supposed to be April 18. We moved it to the 4tb to try and get it in before the virus hits my state in full force. But I love my dress and it fit perfectly without alterations! Also tight on money. The day care I work at is closed indefinitely... and I just spent half my life’s savings on a wedding that won’t even happen the way I planned.

Hi! We haven't officially decided to postpone, but I did order another dress. The one I got for our elopement is very simple, just long and white. My original dress (and what will be my "main" wedding dress) has tons of lace and is a full ballgown. I wanted to save the sleeker, more classic dress for just us and the all out dress for the extra large event.

It feels weird to me to wear my all lace mermaid dress to a backyard reception, so I'll be wearing a different dress.
