Ceremony Only Sites in Santa Cruz County

My fiancé and I are having our wedding reception at our church in Watsonville, CA. However, I want to hold our ceremony in a natural setting. Does anyone have any suggestions for venues, rental homes, etc. that accommodate ceremony only events?

It has been very hard trying to find places that do ceremony only! I am looking for a garden setting preferably, or anywhere green and pretty for about an hour to do our ceremony in May 2018 for about 50-100 people.

All suggestions are welcome!

It might be tough to find an actual venue which will do your ceremony but not reception, since the reception is where they make the majority of their money. What about a beach ceremony in Aptos/Capitola or Santa Cruz, then the reception at your church?

The only other options I can think of are at a state park like Henry Cowell, but that’s a bit of a drive to Watsonville.

Hey Bri, does the church where your reception will be held have a space? Even if it isn't in the church itself, but does it have some green space? You could do a quick keyword search in the venue directory for "ceremony only", or you could ask your officiant if they know of any places.
