Ceremony musicians

I am a violinist and I’ve found clients on gig salad, it’s legit. Also check out gigmasters and thumbtack. My problem with gig salad is unless the violinist buys a subscription they can’t give you their email or phone number or website, whereas on gigmasters and thumbtack they can communicate more freely with you because they pay the site after you book them. I’m only telling you this information in case you are wondering about communication issues that may arise.

Thank you. That helped a lot. Now when you book someone on gigsalad do you have to use a credit card to pay them as soon as you book them? I will definitely look into those other sites though.

Yup! We used Gigsalad and Gigmasters. Both were good but like WW or other places, some musicians are responsive and others are flaky.

PS We had a violinist for our ceremony! A live musician really sets the mood.

Yep we booked our wedding band on Gigsalad! It’s a nice site, better than googling for hours.
