Ceremony Music

Carina, on February 19, 2020 at 2:25 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 9

Do you think there should be ceremony music? If so what song other than the traditional instrumental would you walk down the aisle to? For some reason, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around walking down the aisle to a song. I'm thinking of possibly choosing the background music of a slow song so there are no lyrics? Is anyone else having a problem with this as well?

Check out vitamin string quartet. They take popular songs and make them instrumental.

I did an instrumental version of dan and shays speechless for the professional but for me I walked down to Tenerife sea by Ed sheeran simply because I loved the lyrics

We had a violinist. Our processional song was Canon D and recessional song was He’s a Pirate.

I love both of those songs! This is something I really have to think about I don't know why I'm feeling so weird about this! I'm thinking I'm going to choose something that's more of a stand-alone instrumental song opposed to the instrumental of a popular song now. I just feel like people will want to sing along to songs they know! (is that weird? lol)

I decided while re-playing Final Fantasy VII in 2016 that I want "Interrupted by Fireworks" by Nobuo Uematsu to play in the background when I'm exchanging wedding vows. I was single at the time, which makes it even funnier. I had no idea that thought would ever come up in reality.

Then the first date I went on with my partner was a cosplay event and I dressed like Cloud Strife in the Wall Market scene, complete with the giant sword. The entire date was so weird and wacky that when I got home I thought, "well, that's it. Either I'm not getting a second date, or this guy is going to fall head over heels in love with me." The next day, he texted asking for a second date, and I realized he was just as weird as me!

He wasn't really on board with the "Interrupted by Fireworks" idea at first just because the PS1 had fairly poor sound quality by today's standards, but we're looking at different acoustic covers or the possibility of the remake soundtrack!
