Ceremony Music

I am having an outdoor ceremony (unless it rains) what’s the best ( little to no hassle) way to go about the music for procession

This would be a great question to ask your dj or whoever is doing your music for your ceremony.

We don’t know who’s doing the ceremony music yet. And because it’s outside I was unsure since the large equipment probably needs plugs and such. Also want cost effective thoughts we really love the instrumental violin sound so.

It depends exactly where the ceremony is, but having your DJ handle it is definitely going to be the easiest option for you. We're having our ceremony and reception at the same location, but the ceremony will be at a grassy area maybe 50 feet away from the building. Our DJ has an extra PA system and amps, and will just run long extension cords down to ceremony, which I think is pretty standard. When he got married, they did the ceremony nowhere close to outlets, so he ended up buying a generator to power a PA, which he now uses as a 3rd PA/backup, so if your ceremony is in a location like that, there are definitely options.

I’m hiring a violinist and guitar player. It’ll be pretty and there’s no electronics needed.

We got married on the beach and our reception was on the terrace st the hotel and for the equipment on the beach it was going to be so expensive so we have two large speakers of our own and just had a friend play the music from our phone. It worked out fine

We are hiring a live musician. No way to have the track skip or buffer or have technical issues when we are walking down the aisle. If budget is a concern go to some local music colleges and ask around for students willing to play.
