I’m officially less than a month away, and I have to still figure out the rest of my ceremony music.
Just wanting to bounce some ideas off people who won’t respond with “whatever makes you happy, you should do it!”, because as sweet as that is, it’s not very helpful.
The only song we know for sure is that my song will be an acoustic version of the Beatles, I wanna hold your hand. I have a friend who is on deck to play it live, or we can do a recorded version.
I love here comes the sun for the rest of the wedding party, but I also don’t want to have a “Beatles themed ceremony” vibe, even though I absolutely love them.
1. Anyone have any good suggestions for processional and recessional songs? They can be acoustic or instrumental and just be played over the speakers.
2. I talked to my DOC and she said she thinks it would be appropriate to do either a combination, recited music for everyone else, live for me. It would call attention to ok, somethings happening, sort of thing.Or does that seem off?
I think I’m just putting way more thought into this than I need to, but I’m driving myself nuts!
Thanks in advance for any help!
