Hello ladies! I’m so stuck. I need help like ASAP! I got my wedding/reception information sheet. I get questions like. What music I want for seating of the mother’s, bridal party entrance, bride entrance and then recessional. He said he stops the music when ever the planner cues for him to do so. I thought it was all one song. But he said many weddings are doing them now. So I did
Seating of mother’s: mamas song
Bridal party entrance: A thousand years/ Christina perri( piano/cello)Bride entrance: look at me / Carrie underwoodRecessional: speechless. Please help me. I don’t know about when to have her change the music or if they are even good songs for the order. If u thing difrent songs please tell me.

You can absolutely do just one song if you want. I would say there is typically a different song for family being seated to the bridal party entrance, but I've seen plenty of weddings where the bride entered to the same music as the rest of the wedding party. I've seen everyone also enter to the same song. It's up to you.

I think your music is fine, but if you want to know if they flow well you can put them in a playlist and kind of get a feel for it. Your DJ should be able to put them in and out to an aesthetically pleasing sound though.

You can also look at instrumental versions of the songs, I recommend checking out the Vitamin String Quartet, they do tons of covers as nice string music.

It is completely up to you if you want to do one song. We did two - one for the seating of the mothers and the bridal party and then one for me to walk down the aisle. I think the songs you picked are very pretty. I would recommend speaking with your planner about cueing the DJ.

Thats up to you and how you envision your wedding. I've never seen more than 1 or 2 songs for a processional.

A violin cover of "My Heart Will Go On" by Taylor Davis. I found it on YouTube when I was looking for instrumental songs. I love Titanic and knew the song was perfect from the moment I heard it.

We did a lot of different music (one song for each: Groom & GM entrance; seating of the parents; BM entrance; bridal processional; and recessional) it worked out quite well.
