Ceremony in the Grass

Soon2BSmith, on September 2, 2018 at 9:44 AM Posted in Planning 0 3
I’m having my ceremony in the grass in front of a lake. It’s a gorgeous location. My concerns is walking in the grass. I’ve been contemplating getting a aisle runner that’s made out of hard material and will provide a walking surface or getting my girls and I plastic heel protectors. Which one will be better? And should I put a note on the invitations for the guess about the grass or their shoes?

I think the heel protectors are a great idea and I think you should put a note either on the info card or on your website

Thanks Peggy. We didn’t do a website but it maybe be a good idea to do one and place the information there.

Heel protectors or telling them to wear block heels are an easier option than getting a hard surface aisle runner.

I did block heels and my life was so much easier. We told guests that the ceremony would be in the orchard and provided heel protectors in a little basket at the entrance for women who didn't wear the appropriate shoes.
