Ceremony - how many musicians?

Hi!

I am looking into music for our outdoor ceremony. Our ceremony will be in a garden area at a vineyard with around 100 people and I’d like to have string musicians but, of course, the more musicians is more expensive. How many musicians are necessary?
Would love to hear from anyone who had their ceremony with string instruments and how it went!

We had a string trio (violin, cello and viola) for our 30 person elopement in an enclosed courtyard, and it was perfect. For a large outdoor area with that many guests, I would suggest a quartet (4 people).
