Ceremony Exit

Nicole, on March 13, 2020 at 5:41 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 7

For those who are doing a ceremony grand exit (or had did one), what are you using? We're getting married at a church so it can't leave a mess. The only thing I can think of that won't be super expensive either are bubbles. But those who did bubbles, was it worth it? Is a grand exit worth it at all? Our church doesn't have a long entry way.. we'd literally be walking out to the parking lot if we exited the church. If we have ~200 guests, I would assume I don't need that many bubbles since I know not everyone will utilize them. I guess I'm just worried they won't use them at all.. It's these little things that stress me out and I don't know why lol

Ceremony Exit 1

As you can see, the door literally exits to the parking lot. All the guests would have to be on the street blowing bubbles. Is it even worth it? How many of you skipped this?

If it doesn't excite you, don't do it! I think sparklers would be fun, but then I read that you have to make sure someone lights them all before you leave, and most people forget to grab one, and it all just is starting to sound like a hassle. Your loved ones on both sides of you, saying goodbye and wishing you well at the end of a fabulous day? That sounds great without any of the little things. Smiley smile

I saw a picture that had wands with ribbons that I thought was cute. Maybe somehow on aisle.

We used dry leaves. They were free from my florist (she had an abundance of leaves from previous weddings)

Thank you for the idea! Maybe if we have them at the end of the pews with a note to wave them when we walk down the aisle would be okay

I’ve seen a lot of cute photos with bubbles, but I guess I’m just worried that there’s not an entryway really for people to line up and blow bubbles 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've been to weddings with butterfly releases, native birds ( bird watching couple), dried lavender, sparklers, doves.
