Different locations, because we wanted a church ceremony, otherwise we'd probably have them at the same location.

Reception and ceremony will be in the same place. Where the ceremony is taking place it’s called the rotunda & the reception it’s a grand ballroom.

We are getting married at an airplane museum. Our ceremony will be held in one airplane hangar, our cocktail hour in the atrium, and reception in a different, larger hangar. I don't have any photos to post unfortunately.

Same location. We are renting out the entire winery. Ceremony in the vineyard, cocktail hour around the fire pits, dinner in the garden, and dancing in the barrel room.

We got married at a church that was less than 10 minutes from the hotel where the reception took place. The cocktail hour was on the patio connected to our reception space. It had its own pathway so that as the guests arrived at valet they were greeted with champagne and led to the patio.

Same location! Our venue is an old tobacco warehouse that's been remodeled, so it's all in one room, but it's huge!

I want the wedding to be outside the reception venue, if the wedding is fair
Then "My parents" wedding reception will be at this venue, no alcohol. Then...there sounds like there will be a big after party at his parents place with alcohol

Our ceremony and reception are at the same location. It’s a 1700 working farmhouse that was converted into a restaurant. The ceremony will be in the basement bar, called the Hexmark Tavern, and the reception will be in the barn attached to the house.

Ours was all at the same venue, but ceremony was outside, cocktail hour was in one room, and reception was in another room.

Same location...ceremony in the 117 year old church building, reception across the parking lot in what I *think* was either a rectory or fellowship hall when the church was still a church (1940's or so).

We are definitely having them in the same place. I don't have any pictures currently but it's a gated park with picnic benches and it just lovely.

Meanwhile, we will not be using the white chairs at the ceremony, just the amish pews, and we plan on the drapery being more "full". The dance area will not have the chairs nor tables either. The space out from it is also lit and well manicured. That is where our "cocktail hour" will be held.
