Candles are inexpensive. Put them in a tall glass vase from Dollar Tree so you can pass the "no open flame" rule.

I am doing a mason jar filled with water and stones. Each table will have a framed picture of us throughout our years of dating, and a small candle. Everything will be sitting on a block of stained wood. I got everything from dollar tree!
