Centerpieces

I’m struggling to find a center piece/inspiration for a centerpiece! I’ve been scouring Pinterest and the rest of the internet to try and find an idea that I like but nothing is “it”.

My fiancé and I have a “love story” themed wedding playing up on books or book themes but making it personal as it’s “our love story”. We’re going to have approximately 30 tables so I’m trying to be cost conscience.
I’d love to see what anyone did wether it’s a similar theme or not! Please send pictures of your centerpieces or your favorite centerpieces/ideas! I’d really appreciate the help.

If you aren't set on using traditional flowers for your centerpieces, you could do paper flowers made from book pages. FH and I did something similar out of maps for our travel theme! I actually made the flowers myself. It was time consuming, but very low-cost! Here's an example of a book flower I found on Etsy:

What have you seen on Pinterest that you like? Just build upon that to create your “it” centerpieces... rather than trying to find EXACTLY what you want. This way it’s original and not just another carbon copy.

Books of all different sizes can easily be found at thrift stores, yard sales and even given to you by other people and painted or wrapped with wrapping paper, craft paper etc. The vases and flowers you can get from Dollar Tree or craft stores for a bit more $$. Blank numbers can be found at any craft store or even Walmart and painted your colors or just print them on a pretty paper at home. You could easily create any of these looks for less than $3-$5 a table.

Thank you for the ideas! I should’ve stated in the initial post, I’m not looking for a traditional flower arrangement for the centerpiece! I’m also looking to in cooperate our wedding colors: Navy, Plum and Lilac just to as a little pop of color to the table!
Originally we were going to do paper flowers for everything but my fiancé preferred real flowers in which I ended up agreeing with him. I love the the pictures of the books especially with the flowers sneaking out and the one with the lantern !

I watched a compilation video and fell in love with the attached picture as inspiration. To me the base looked like a book and the center could be filled with book page cut outs (paper hearts). I was using a shadow box for my base, three different shaped candle sticks from the dollar store that were glittered in the wedding colors, and glass fish bowls that had a handle holder dangling in them. The candle holder was spray painted navy. I only bought enough supplies to play with it and see if my vision played out in actuality. Once put together I really did like it! But sadly the dollar store discontinued the fish bowls I was using. They have regular fish bowls but the size is large in comparison to my preferred product. That leads me back to my struggle.Centerpieces 6

You could write out for each month or year depending on how long you’ve been together what yoh guys did that month and your “love story”. Have him write something he remembers the second month, etc and then type it up and frame it like it’s written on a typewriter.

Another thing I thought was cute was some people will use a journal and write on the cover a number and use that as the table number and centerpiece.
The gist is guests can write you advice or well wishes for you to read on the anniversary of that year of that number.

I THOUGHT OF THIS TOO AND LOVEDD THE IDEA!! I think it’s my top contender right now and last night I was thinking of was to decorate it up so that it’s enough to be a center piece. Have you seen it done before? What do people accent it with?
