Centerpieces

Several of you weighed in on whether it would be weird to have silk flowers for centerpieces and if they had to be the same as the ones in my bouquet, along with lots of other suggestions on vases, lights, alternatives...I appreciate the help so much.

My bouquet is red alstroemeria and white oriental lilies...but this is what I've come up with for the centerpieces. The red lights aren't here yet, but what do you think? The glass was a find from the dollar store (thank you for that tip, too!!) And it's only 9" tall.
Does this look ok?

These are gorgeous and no one will care if they’re silk. I had real roses for my ceremony and fake ones for the reception. It looked great and was much cheaper.

Thank you so much. I'm not crafty at all. I'm working up to being able to cover paper mache boxes with material for a card box 😂

I LOVE silk arrangements for table's. They are cost effective, no one notices, they obviously hold up better and can be arranged ahead of time/early in the day with no concerns AND it saves living plants. We are using a combination of silks and dried floral's on our tables, the design recently changed due to moving from spring to winter, but we are embracing and enjoying the change. Have you thought about using clear lights in the vases and incorporating a red flower to accompany the white ones? The red lights in the vases might give off a bordello feel...see what it looks like when you get them. You have PLENTY of time to tweek the design and we are all here with thoughts if you want/ask/need them!

Thank you 😊 we're extremely non-traditional. Our cake is Nightmare before Christmas themed 😂 the red lights fit in with that being very well. If they do look to Ho Chi, I can stop and then with crepe paper or take them out entirely.😊 I appreciate the input!
