Centerpieces!

I'm going to have the wood slab with a lantern and a rose gold painted wine bottle with baby's breath in the top. Similar to this photo but with the wine bottle instead of the two little ones in the pic.

We're getting married at a winery, so we're doing something similar! We're planning on doing clear bottles with lights in them (battery powered via a cork), with candles and greenery.

Our centerpieces looked VERY similar to the last photo that Annajoy posted. We painted wine bottles white or gold and had 3 on every table (chosen at random, some were all white, some all gold, some a mix). Some had a wide gold ribbon tied around all 3, some were loose with either baby's breath or a faux baby's breath that we had sprayed gold. All the linens were white and it looked really sharp!

I like that! So every table was kind of a little different, but mainly all the same. That sounds like it turned out really nice.

I'm loving the painted bottle look. I think I am going to be doing something along those lines. Have you pained bottles? Was it difficult? What is the best type of paint to use?
