Centerpieces

Ang, on July 20, 2019 at 9:31 AM Posted in Style and Décor 1 9
So i decided to diy my centerpieces. I had boxes made by a friend of my sisters and they are great but $6 a piece. I only ordered 12 but now it seems i might need five more to cover all of the tables. I would have to buy more branches and boxes which would add another 100 to the budget. Do i order more so they all match or come up with another centerpiece for 5 tables

I love these!! So beautiful!! I would say if you can afford the extra 100, I would do that. But I love the uniform look. Are the 5 tables “special” (like family or head tables)? Maybe then It would look ok to have different centerpieces for those!

I LOVE those!!! Maybe if you find something less expensive that matches you can do every other table the branches and the other centerpiece. Maybe juts a wooden rustic box with candles?! Or something to it’s still uniformed. Or those same bailed with the moss and top it with the lights. That would be pretty

Those look gorgeous. I'd say it depends on the tables left. For instance if it's your family tables you could just do something different to distinguish them

Thanks for all of your comments. I think im just going to do the extra five so everything matches. I always say im ok with mix and match but im really not lol i can afford it, its just more annoying than anything else at this point buying more stuff for these centerpieces. I plan on selling them at a local party consignment shop after the wedding, so i hope to get some of the money back.

Selling afterwards is an excellent idea! There's plenty of brides out there who would love those centerpieces

I bought very similar handmade manzanita trees from an online seller. I bought 10 but now I’m thinking I may need centerpieces for 3-4 more tables. What I’ve decided to do is, for the remaining tables, put a simple three tier floating candle arrangement. The manzanita trees are tall, and it could end up looking like a forest in the room if more than 10 tables have the trees as the center piece. I think a little variation will help break it apart. So I don’t think you’re in a horrible position! My florist is renting me the 3” floating candle holders for $2 each. You may be able to find something similar at an affordable cost.

Your centerpieces are really cool! Depending on the tables that are left, mix and matching may not be a bad idea. Different levels of centerpieces will allow for guests to see across the room easier. Also, incorporating new colors and textures- with flowers or moss- will make your branches stand out even more.
