Centerpieces

Amanda, on July 16, 2019 at 1:43 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
So...just remembered that we are having five cocktail tables out on the deck at our venue where the dancing will also occur. I ordered white tablecloths for them with white chairs but that's it. Do you think they need a centerpiece? I think they may look plan without one but I don't really have room in our budget for more flowers... So what are some other ideas? I'm afraid to do candles because it will be outside and our reception will be mostly during daylight hours...FYI our wedding is a vintage/barn theme with wildflowers if that helps

Pain tables are fine, not everything needs to be decorated. Our venue has a separate area for cocktail hour and I'm stressing over décor for tables that will only be used for 45 minutes.

I had a few cocktail tables around our dancefloor outside and I didn't decorate them. I hardly even noticed them in the first place lol.

I honestly think I will just leave the cocktail tables plain too that will be on the deck area for cocktail hour. So long as they have the tablecloth. I agree I don't have anything in the budget to do anything with them.

I'm not doing anything on the tables for cocktail hour. We are having a wedding at a barn with cocktail hour outside. I'm sure the caterers will set up some candles but I'm not planning on doing anything.

With your venue I would consider a small vase of wildflowers or a lantern with an led light that looks like a candle. Something small, but fitting your venue will give the tables a polished look instead of seeming like an afterthought. We have a similar issue so I'm taking the extra led lights that we're putting in our lanterns on the big tables and found these really cute wraps so the light will shine through the laser cut design.
