Centerpieces- uniform or different?

Kiley, on July 18, 2018 at 4:04 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 21
Hi Everyone!
I looked through past posts and I wasn't really able to find current posts regarding this topic.

I am trying to work on planning my centerpieces and I was wondering what other brides are doing! I am torn between having all the same uniform centerpieces or to have different ones? There will be approximately 12 tables, it will be outside under a tent (I attached a picture of the venue).

I also attached a picture of a mock up of what they would look like if they are all uniform.
What you you think?

I'm doing alternating centerpiece designs solely bc I couldn't decide which I liked better so I'm having both!

We are doing wood planks with mason jars, hydrangeas, baby's breath and roses, but each one will have different size accent glass jars, some will have the bridesmaid bouquets in them, etc. I love mixmatched!

I actually like the look of different centerpieces! We're renting ours from the venue so they're uniform, but I helped FH's cousin's FW DIY their centerpieces and we used 3-4 different designs (slightly, they're all Mason jars with burlap, buttons and lace in different configurations).

We are alternating large, medium and small centerpieces. I liked the variety and it also let me have some more expensive centerpieces as the large ones since they were only going to 1/3 of the tables. If I wanted to do them all like that it would have been over our flower budget.

Ours are pretty much the same just minimal changes to the flowers we use on some of the tables. We will have 3 different sets of flowers that alternate in the mason jars.

My centerpieces were different, but I didn't diy them. It definitely doesn't look bad when they're mixed up a bit.

We have similar venues in that we both have white tents with chandeliers and the tent is taller on the outer area than the inner area... love it! The florists I've spoken to advised to do various heights of centerpieces - the majority short, especially around the outside, and some tall in the center and close to the outside - in order to add drama and to draw your eyes up to the height of the tent. The taller ones are more expensive so I'm doing six tall and 12 short. Perhaps you could do 3-4 tall and 9-8 short?

    This might help you visualize:

Yepp! I did mine myself and it was easier to just order multiples of the same thing. I think mismatched would be cool though if you have the patience and creative eye for it Smiley smile

Mine will be all different, with a mixture of sizes/types of vases in a mixture of shades, with all white flowers.

I'm repurposing as much as I can for my centerpieces, so they'll all be a little different. Using the same flowers throughout to keep it cohesive.

We are doing mixed arrangement: tall, short & greenery. I like the look of different centerpieces better honestly! I say go for it..the mockup picture is nice.

All of my centerpieces will have the same variety of flowers in them. I will be doing 60% of them with a shorter centerpiece and the other 40% taller to add height and variety to my decor.

I love the idea of different centerpieces with a common theme or element to tie them together. Whatever you decide, it will be wonderful!!

Alternating! I believe it'll be a way to cut costs and add different style elements to the reception area.
