Centerpieces Too Tall??

I'm having a winter wedding a week before Christmas so we're doing a cylinder vase with Christmas balls in them with a flower topiary on top! My only worry is that they're going to be too tall. Right now we're planning on using 12" vases with the height of the topiary added on top. Are the centeripieces going to be in people's ways with them being this tall? What size would be best for such a set up? Thank you!!

If they are fairly tall, slender vases it shouldn't matter much. People can adjust themselves to see around them if they're only a few inches wide and the topiary is up high enough for them to see under. Hope that makes sense. Having trouble explaining my thoughts, haha!

If they are far enough apart from each other I don't think they will be too much in the way. Post some pics and let's see!

Generally speaking, centerpieces should be less than 12" or more than 24" tall so they don't obstruct conversation across the table. The exceptions would something very narrow like an Eiffel tower vase or a candelabra, or something you can see through

A cylinder vase wide enough to hold ornaments would probably be too wide. The topiary might be ok if it is high enough off the table so guests can see beneath it, but sitting at 12" it will surely obstruct the line of vision.
