Centerpieces - flower longevity

Alex, on June 13, 2019 at 12:25 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7
I am making simple centerpieces - glass jars with some baby’s breath and a few roses. If I make these the day before the wedding, will they still look good? Or am I better off waiting until the day of? Any advice from someone who has done something like this or seen it done would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The day before should be fine. Baby's breath and roses are pretty hearty flowers. Keep them in the fridge if you are concerned. Make sure they have fresh water on the day of.

Do it day before. You don't wanna be dealing with it the day of. It'll still be fine

I would do it the day before! My wedding was literally 12 days ago and my bouquet still looks pretty good!

You’ll definitely be ok with the day before! Baby’s breath lasts a long time. Roses do too & you can always get them not fully open so they will open completely the day after.

Yes these will be fine. One of my friends did this for her wedding and we all made these the day before her wedding. It helps if you can keep them cool or put them in the fridge.

Day before should be fine. Baby's breath is a surprisingly strong flower. My suggestion would be if you were to put them in the fridge, make sure they're completely dried off. Any access water on the stems may hurt them.
