Centerpiece

We're having an average height centerpiece - about 12" altogether -noticeable but still allows guests to talk across the table.

I had the same thoughts..low or tall. I've decided to alternate between both. I cant wait to see the room!!

Thank you. Our space will already be decorate for the holidays so we didn't want to go too crazy with the centerpieces.

Daughter's centerpieces were VERY similar to these and they looked beautiful at the reception. I agree that low centerpieces are more "guest friendly" than tall ones that can potentially get in the way of guests' conversations.

I like lower ones so people can see each other and talk. Here were mine

We went with tall ones like the pic below. But I think a lot of it depends on your venue and preferences. Our venue has super high ceilings so we wanted to make the space look a little fuller. What’s your venue like?

I have half the tables with low and half with high. I want it to be entertaining and appealing to the eyes.

The ceilings are pretty high so tall ones would look great, but you also have those gorgeous chandeliers, so the short ones would also be really pretty and let focus be on the chandeliers. Do you have an idea of the kind of centerpieces you want, do you want flowers, or candles, or something else?

I would go low. I dislike that for talk you sometimes get an obstructed view of the person across the table
